Unpack and relax, feel at home in this charming fully-furnished serviced home located opposite a park in a quiet cul-de-sac. Just a short walk away is the thriving Yarraville village and we are close to the banks where the Yarra River meets Port Phillip Bay. You can easily reach here by car or public transport from the Melbourne city centre or the airport.

Sandford Grove is a single-fronted Victorian cottage which can accommodate up to five people. There are two full-sized bedrooms, the first containing a queen size bed and the second containing a double and single bed. A portacot can also be provided on request. The lounge-room contains a desk and the dining room is equipped with a table seating six which can be extended to seat eight.

The cottage features a fully-equipped kitchen, laundry including washing machine and dryer, 40″ LCD high definition TV, DVD and Blu-ray player, a small selection of films and paperbacks and a courtyard garden containing a deck with outdoor setting, large umbrella and BBQ. Reverse-cycle air conditioning provides heating and cooling and the bedrooms and living area have been recently carpeted for extra comfort and warmth.

Come and see the eclectic mix of locals at Yarraville and Seddon villages that both have a good range of delightful shops, bars, cafes and restaurants, as well as the stunning art deco Sun Theatre.

The historic seaport, Williamstown, which has a ferry to Melbourne’s Southbank precinct among other attractions, is within ten minutes by car. In the other direction lies Footscray with its vibrant mix of cultures including a range of African and Vietnamese eateries.

Melbourne's many attractions including the Melbourne Zoo, Melbourne Aquarium, Flemington Racecourse, the Queen Victoria Markets, Federation Square, ScienceWorks, Royal Melbourne Showgrounds, Etihad Stadium and surrounding Docklands precinct with its many great restaurants and bars, are close by and easily accessible by public transport or with your car.

The Bedrooms

You can snooze to your heart’s content in the main bedroom on the new queen size bed. This room is at the front of the house with a large natural light-filled window overlooking the peaceful park.

The second bedroom accommodates up to three people with a double bed and a single bed. One or two portacots can also be provided for babies and small children.

The Kitchen

The galley kitchen is well equipped with enough cooking and serving utensils for a family BBQ. Recently renovated with new appliances you’ll be able to self-cater and enjoy the amazing fresh produce and local products available in the Yarraville village.

The Lounge

Invite some friends over and watch a game or enjoy some peace and quiet in the lounge. The furnishings are all new so sink into the couch and relax with a beer or glass of wine from Yarraville Cellars.

Outside

5 Sandford Grove is a recently renovated Victorian cottage located in a secluded cul de sac only three blocks from the heart of Yarraville Village. There is on-street car parking for two cars.

The courtyard features a BBQ and deck area.

Immediately across the road is a quiet park with a children’s playground. There is no vehicle access to the park so you’ll only hear the sounds of footsteps and the pitter-patter of paws out for an afternoon stroll.
